| Jubilee Soaps and Sundries all started when our youngest so was diagnosed with asthma at birth. One of the complications associated with asthma is dry, sensitive skin that can develop red splotchy spots. I was becoming more concerned with the additives and preservatives that I was seeing in commercial soaps, so I decided it was time to try something different. A neighbor and friend showed me how to make all natural soap, which was a great start! I chose goat's milk, supplied by another neighbor, because of its wonderful moisturizing properties. |
| About Goat's Milk Soap Goat's milk has been used as an ingredient in cosmetic and therapeutic treatments in different cultures for thousands of years. The soothing and moisturizing qualities of the milk has made it an increasingly popular ingredient, especially in soap. Goat's milk is high in protein; it even exceeds that of eggs. This unique quality makes the milk-based soap unequaled for delicate complexions. Milk is also rich in vitamins and minerals and has an ability to moisturize, nourish and retain its goodness in your skin---truly a pure, natural beauty aid. Because commercial soaps contain additives that many of us would like to avoid, all natural goat's milk is a wonderful alternative to commercial soap! |
